A panel of three doctors at Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital, which is attached to Ganesh Shankar Vidhyarthi Medical College, performed the post-mortem of Vikas Dubey. The post-mortem has been videographed, a doctor involved in it said, adding that the police have been briefed about the findings and the report would be handed over very soon.
Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police H C Awasthi said that the operation is still underway to nab the criminals who had fled after shooting at the police.
Dubey's wife hold media responsible for the encounter killing of her husband.
"It was a hub of crime," Inspector General of Police Kanpur Mohit Agarwal said when asked about the razing of the house.
