SC awards record compensation in negligence case

The Supreme Court has held 4 doctors including three senior doctors and the Advanced Medical Research Institute in Kolkata guilty for causing death of US-based psychologist, Anuradha Saha. The case has now been sent to the National Consumers Forum for calculating the quantum of compensation.The compensation sought is Rs 77.7 crore.
