Chinese tennis ace Li Na reportedly had her fans roaring with laughter with her wisecracks during her speech following her Australian Open victory on Saturday at MelbournePark.

Li secured her second Grand Slam title in her third Australian Open final after overcoming a tense first set to beat Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova 7-6(3), 6-0.

According to Sport24, firing out the jokes, Li thanked her agent Max Eisenbud, who was sitting in her players' box , for making her rich and gave damningly faint praise to her long-suffering husband Jiang Shan, her former coach and often the butt of her jokes.

Li also thanked her coach Carlos Rodriguez and her physiotherapist before finally turning to her husband, with her first quip being that he is 'even famous in China'.

Li thanked Jiang for giving up everything to travel with her to be her hitting partner, fix the drinks and the racquets, although she later added that Jiang is a 'nice guy' and lucky for her.

Li has frequently poked fun at her husband in public, hitting out at everything from his snoring to his cooking skills, the report added.
