The Indo-Czech pair of Leander Paes and David Rikl beat the Bryan brothers in four sets to move into the semi-finals of the men's doubles at the Wimbledon on Wednesday.

The fifth seeds got the better of the American duo of Bob and Mike Bryan, winning 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 6-3.

They are most likely to face the top seeded Indo-Belarussian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Miryni in the semi-finals.

Bhupathi and Miryni are fancied to win their quarter-final match against the eighth seeded Czech pair of Martin Damm and Cyril Suk.

In the mixed doubles event, Bhupathi, pairing WTA doubles No. 1 Paola Suarez of Argentina, beat Jared Palmer and Abiqail Spears of the United States 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 6-1.

They now meet the winner of the match between the unseeded pair of Nenad Zimonjic (Serbia) and Iroda Tulyaganova (Uzbekistan) and 16th seed Mariano Hood (Argentina) and Tina Kirzam (Slovakia).
