From the Elvis festival to a fanatic Homer Simpson fan, the world is crazy. Here’s a fresh collection of stories that prove it’s truly a weird and funny world.

Sexy singer Jennifer Lopez, world famous for her looks and talent, has a new claim to fame... a bug has been named after her.

Scientists working 230 feet deep in the treacherous waters off the coast of Puerto Rico -- where the Bronx-born singer’s parents come from -- came across a new species of water mite.

Because they had been listening to J-Lo’s music while they worked, they all agreed the mite would be named Litarachna Lopezae in her honour.

Husband sends wife 'sex rejection' spreadsheet

A man’s rigorously maintained Excel spreadsheet documenting every time his wife rejected him for sex has gone viral online. The document meticulously lists each time he asked his wife for sex and the three times -- out of 27 -- that she agreed.

The list includes excuses like “I’m exhausted,” “I feel sweaty”. The man showed his wife the document when she said she was going on a business trip for 10 days. He tried to use the spreadsheet to prove they had been making love less than twice a month, though the fact she then posted it online indicates it may have backfired.

A Simpsons fanatic, who was banned from watching the popular TV cartoon as a child, has broken a world record after getting covered in tattoos of Homer Simpson.

Lee Weir, 27, dubbed his father the ‘real-life Ned Flanders’ and was not allowed to watch the popular cartoon as head of the household Homer was depicted to be a ‘buffoon’. But father-of-one Lee was so in love with the famous animated sitcom that he had his favourite characters etched on to his skin in ink for life.

His 41 tattoos earned him the prestigious title of world record holder for having the most tattoos of the same cartoon character tattooed on the body.
