IN PHOTOS: A dictator and a family man

Many say that North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un, one of the world’s worst known dictators, has seemingly guaranteed the future of dynasty rule over the isolated and impoverished nation with the birth of his daughter earlier this year.

Former NBA star Dennis Rodman, who visited Kim Jong-un -- an ardent basketball fan himself -- later told the media that the leader and his wife Ri Sol-Ju gave birth to a healthy girl child, named Ju-ae.

It seems that the world’s youngest head of the state, known for his routine nuclear threats to neighbours and wild parties, will now have more responsibilities at home as citizens of this highly secretive country hope for a better future.
