ISRO trying to track down Chandrayaan

Last updated on: August 30, 2009 16:58 IST

The Indian Space Research Organisation is trying to track down Chandrayaan-1 with which it lost radio links on Saturday.

The last attempt was made at 8am today, ISRO sources said. Chandrayaan was rotating the orbit of the moon at 200 km when the last link was available.

ISRO said another attempt would be made later today, using radars.
India's ambitious moon mission came to a grinding halt on Saturday when ISRO lost radio contact.
