The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a chargesheet against former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The chargesheet against Chautala was filed in a Delhi court on March 26 for allegedly possessing assets to the tune of Rs 60 Crore disproportionate to his income between 1993 and 2006, CBI spokesperson said in a release on Monday.

The chargesheet was filed after the CBI received a nod from the Haryana Speaker. It comes three months after the agency had filed a chargesheet against Chautala's son -- Abhay and Ajay -- on similar charges.
