Four British-Indian men are due to face trial over charges of killing 32-year-old Geeta Aulakh in a knife attack.

Geeta was found with fatal head injuries and her hand severed after being attacked in Greenford, London, on November 16 last year. She was walking to pick up her two sons, Tejdeep, 8, and Karam, 10, after leaving Sunrise Radio where she was a receptionist. Geeta died hours later in hospital from her injuries.

Investigators had said she was struck repeatedly and her right hand was cut off as she tried to protect herself.

Her husband Harpreet Aulakh, Sher Singh, Harpreet Singh and Jaswant Dhillon have been charged in the case. The trial is expected to last four weeks.
