Once the dust settles over Osama's killing, Will the United States and Pakistan remain friends? At least signs from the White House seem to indicate the possibility of the friendship continuing. Quite obviously, given the endgame in Afghanistan and the impending draw down of US troops in July, as well as the uncertainties that are arising in the Persian Gulf security (especially with regard to Saudi Arabia), the imperatives of US-Pakistan cooperation remain stronger than ever.
