Four Andhra students killed in road mishap in US

Four youth from Andhra Pradesh studying MBBS in ST. Louis died in a ghastly road accident, the reports reaching Hyderabad said. The four were travelling in a car and a police van coming from the wrong side hit their vehicle killing four of the occupants.

The victims have been identified as M Priyadarshini, Chinta Satya [Images] Sudhakar, Anita Lakshmi and Anumula Anusha. Another student Nitish, who was injured in the accident, has been admitted to the St. Louis hospital.

Efforts were being made to send the bodies to their families in Andhra Pradesh in four days. While Anusha and Satya Sudhakar belonged to Vijaywada, Priyadarshini were from Hyderabad and V Anita Lakshmi from Visakhapatanam.

Telugu Desam president Chandrababu Naidu [Images] expressing his shock and grief over the loss of precious lives in the accident, and urged the state government to take immediate steps to bring the bodies home.
