Five years on, where Iraq stands

The Shiites' rise to power after Saddam's ouster has not helped the process of political normalisation either. The Sunni fall from grace is regarded by many as a key source of Iraq's raging insurgency. Moqtada Sadr, whose militia patrols parts of a Baghdad slum, went to the extent of forming his own cabinet in Iraq. The result: More violence, more bloodshed on the streets.
