Five years on, where Iraq stands

No day passes without blood being shed on Iraq's street. There is no covert intention behind the spate of car bomb explosions and suicide attacks. Every Iraqi life lost seems like a slap on the face of those who claim that peace is fast returning to Iraq. As per government estimates, the Iraqi death toll stands at 151,000. The actual figures may be much higher.
