In a story published in Panchjanya, the need to saffronise the party flag is emphasised. The report also mentioned that Rajnath Singh had got suggestions to this effect from many important colleagues and friends.
The move is to re-emphasise the party's ideological position.
The idea was reinforced during Rajnath Singh's yatra which he embarked from Bhubaneswar.
