Wedding is a special day in the life of a man and woman. But a celebrity wedding is just as big for those covering or reading about it.
The year 2012 saw some of our hottest stars give up their single-hood to marry the loves of their lives in star-studded affairs.
Here's a look at the big, fat filmi weddings of this year.
Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor
Despite a 10-year age gap and several doubts, the Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor romance flourished and turned into marriage when the duo opted for a registered legality, preceded by a sangeet party, and then a grand reception in Mumbai and Delhi attended by famous friends like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor.

The Kahaani star exchanged vows with UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor in a fiercely private (part-Tamil, part-Punjabi style) ceremony at a bungalow in Bandra wearing a pretty kanjeevaram and trousseau designed by Sabyasachi, of course.
