Romantic? Not these filmi couples!

Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell topped the Worst Romantic Comedy Couple poll for their film Bewitched in a recent poll.

There are ample instances in Bollywood where we saw onscreen chemistry fizzle.

For those who are tired of Valentine's Day mush, here's a little break -- check out Bollywood's most unromantic onscreen couples!

Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra in Pyaar Impossible

For all the optimism in the world that makes us believe that geeks too can end up with hot girls, Pyaar Impossible seemed to be a perverse bid to convert us all into eternal cynics.

Why else would one cast Uday Chopra and Priyanka Chopra in such roles? It seemed like both the actors played themselves on screen -- Priyanka was her hot, distant self while Uday played a nervous geek who could never bring himself to believe that he could indeed land a hot chick.

Shazahn Padamsee and Ajay Devgn in Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji

It was just plain awkward to see Ajay Devgn lust after Shazahn Padamsee, 18 years his junior, in the film.

He has hopped on the veteran actor bandwagon while she is still a fresh-faced newbie.

Katrina Kaif and Govinda in Partner

Govinda circa 2012 would look weird with any actress today. We still can't erase memories of Naughty@40.

But even before the aforementioned remake of The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Bollywood's funny lead man partnered with then chum Salman Khan on, well, Partner -- a film inspired from another Hollywood romantic comedy Hitch.

While the film was a hit, Govinda's part missed the mark by about a mile. His character was disturbingly dumb, and no one in their right mind would trust such a person with Katrina Kaif.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajnikanth in Robot

We run the risk of infuriating Rajini fans, but we'll say it anyway.

The desi Chuck Norris can do everything under the sun. What he can't do is romance Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on screen without making us cringe.

Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja in Love Story 2050

Nobody knows what went wrong.

They are about the same age, they look good together and what's more, were even dating when the film came out. Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja's chemistry was probably too futuristic for our understanding, like the film's story.

Kangna Ranaut and Chirag Paswan in Mile Na Mile Hum

For someone as quirky and bohemian as Kangna Ranaut, Chirag Paswan was the wrong lead actor from the word go.

He failed to match the actress's screen presence, leaving much to be desired in his first film.

Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor in Dil Bole Hadippa

Shahid looks way younger than his years. And when he's paired with an actress who is three years older than him, the pair would obviously not work.

Yet, the age factor was just one of the things that didn't work for Shahid and Rani in Dil Bole Hadippa.

Deepika and Akshay seemed to be locked in a who-outdoes-who-in-the-film battle and forgot all about romancing each other in Chandni Chowk To China.

Sonam Kapoor and Bobby Deol in Thank You

A picture is worth thousand words. And this picture largely demonstrates what went wrong with this pairing.

Sonam is a nagging wife with a screechy voice, Bobby is the somewhat henpacked and frustrated husband who strays.

There was no semblence of romance to begin with.

Lara Dutta and Abhishek Bachchan in Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost

There was so much camaraderie between Lara and Abhishek that the romance got a little lost somewhere in Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost.
