Pakistani starlet Veena Malik, who shifted base to India after her stint in reality show Bigg Boss's fourth season, knows her way around show business.

The actress has been in news constantly, despite having starred in only a handful of small-time films and item numbers, and it's quite clear why -- Veena Malik makes sure the cameras follow her, whether she's playing Holi or visiting a Gurudwara in Punjab.

It all started with her nude cover for FHM magazine, which she resorts to again in her new film Zindagi 50 50. Veena has apparently gone topless in the film, and has quite a few steamy scenes in it too.

We look back at some of her bizarre self-promoting antics over the years.

While shooting for a Punjabi film titled Eh Dil Da Mamla Hai, Veena visited the Gurudwara Dukhniwarn Sahib in Patiala.

Dressed demurely, Malik offered her prayers, as shutterbugs clicked away.

Malik, who's branching out in South films -- she'll be seen in The Dirty Picture's Kannada remake as Silk -- celebrated Holi on the sets of her Telugu film, the oddly titled Nagna Satyam.

To promote another film titled The City Never Sleeps, the starlet set out to break Salman Khan's record of kisses and succeeded with 137 kisses (on her hand) in a minute from her 'fans' at a venue in Mumbai.

Like several of her contemporaries, Veena Malik donned the red Santa outfit to mark Christmas festivities in December 2012 and posed seductively for pictures.

Malik has gained notoriety for her random photoshoots in which she strikes equally random, but very sexy, poses.

Her makeup, outfits and hairdos manage to bring her back in the news.

After stripping for a movie she starred in, the actress set out to learn Salsa and what do you know, she got the whole process captured in pictures -- sexy poses, pouts and a mild wardrobe malfunction included.

Veena Malik struck gold when she was offered the item number in Akshay Khanna starrer Gali Gali Chor Hai.

She made the most of the opportunity in sexy cholis and moves.

Even Janmashtami wasn't spared by the actress as she made an appearance at a Dahi Handi celebration in South Mumbai last year. 

After Rakhi Sawant found the man of her dreams on the now defunct Imagine TV and moved on, Veena Malik readily stepped in to play her worthy successor and find a husband through a talent hunt reality show called Swayamvar.

The ill-fated show never took off as the channel ran out of steam.
