Meet Hollywood's Most OVERPAID Actors

Hollywood actors are paid big money for their acting abilities and star quality.

More often than not, the payback is in staggering numbers at the box office but there are also intances where the star actors fail to deliver.

According to Forbes magazine's latest list, 10 Hollywood actors have been identified as overpaid, based on the performance of their last three films.

10. Sarah Jessica Parker

Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker has been listed at number 10 in the list.

The actress has found little success outside of her popular television show about Carrie Bradshaw. According to Forbes, she returns $7 for every $1 paid to her.

Actor/director Ben Stiller's movies have done reasonably well at the box office.

But Forbes reasons that he's paid so much per movie that one flop can make him seem overpaid.

He returns $6.50 for every $1 paid.

Flight actor Denzel Washington returns $6.30 per $1 paid to him.

His movies do well too but he reportedly overcharges for his roles.

Actor/producer Adam Sandler may have given some box office hits but he figures in the overpaid list at number seven.

Sandler, who picked up Razzie awards for Worst Actor, Actress and Screenplay for his work in Jack And Jill, returns $6.30 for every $1 paid.

Actor Nicolas Cage has been in 10 movies in the last three years but that hasn't helped the fate of his last few projects.

He returns $6 fo revery $1 paid.

Funnyman Jack Black has hits in the Kung Fu Panda franchise but his other projects haven't done well.

He returns $5.20 for every $1 paid.

Academy Award winning actress Sandra Bullock's stock rose dramatically with her film The Blind Side.

Unfortunately, her other recent films haven't done that well. She returns $5 for every $1 paid.

The Sweet Home Alabama cutie, who recently gave birth to her first child with husband Jim Toth, hasn't had much success at the box office lately.

She returns a mere $3.90 per $1 paid.

Despite giving hits like Knocked Up and 27 Dresses, Katherine Heigl hasn't done much successful work in the recent past.

She returns $3.40 for every $1 paid.

Eddie Murphy has been crowned by the magazine as the most overpaid actor in Hollywood.

He returns $2.30 for every $1 paid.
