Gabriela played football at regional soccer leagues; her brother Glelberson Luis Leopoldino Bertante has played football professionally for several Brazilian teams.
She has featured in several magazines. She has also worked as a veejay on MTV Grind.
Gabriela met Puri Jagannadh in Mumbai. He asked her to come to Hyderabad to give an audition.
The item number in Devudu Chesina Manushulu has been shot in Bangkok, Thailand.
This is not her first brush with South Indian cinema.
Earlier, she did an item number in the Tamil film Billa 2, starring Ajith.
