PIX: Ash, Ambanis at the Big B art show

After a star-studded bash with family, friends and granddaughter Aaradhya on October 10, Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 70th birthday at an art exhibition organised as a tribute to him.

Curated by Sapna Kar, the show 'B Seventy' was held at the Hall Of Vision at Nehru Centre in Worli, South Mumbai, on October 11 and comprised of artwork tributes by 70 artists.

Dressed in a bandhgala, the Big B admires a colourful bust of one of his most famous onscreen avatars.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who were present at the do with the family, pose for pictures with Ash's parents Vrinda and Krishnaraj Rai.

The actor couple was dressed in colour-coordinated outfits of white and gold.

It seems to be the pair's most preferred combination, if their most recent appearances are anything to go by. 

One of the closest friends of the Bachchan family, industrialist Anil Ambani, who was a prominent presence at the October 10 bash, shares a light moment with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, wife Tina Ambani and mother Kokilaben.

The matriarchs of the Ambani and Bachchan families -- Kokilaben and Jaya -- catch up at the do.

Noted ad filmmaker Piyush Pandey unveiled the book B Seventy with Jaya Bachchan during the exhibition.

The Big B's younger brother Ajitabh Bachchan, who reportedly delivered an elaborate and heartwarming speech at the party, was present at the exhibition with wife Ramola.

A sari-clad Shweta Bachhcan Nanda poses for photographs with brother Abhishek.

Socialite Parmeshwar Godrej and industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla represented the city's swish set at the do.

Actress/singer Ila Arun poses for pictures with filmmaker Govind Nihlani.

Roja actress Madhoo was also spotted at the exhibition.
