Yash Raj Films has stared a new venture called Y-Films to target the young audience. Y-Films will release three films this year, starring fresh faces, and directed by newcomers: Luv Ka The End and Virus Diwan will be directed by Bumpy, and Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge will be directed by Nupur Asthana.

We take a look at the actors that Y-Films will launch this year:

Tara D'souza

She will be seen Y-Films' Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, as well as Yash Raj's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, starring Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. It has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Tara is the calendar girl from the Kingfisher hunt. She has written and sung a song for a commercial. Her song for the Eclipse Women deodorant is the most popular one.

When she isn't making men weak in their knees, Tara loves riding Royal Enfield bikes.

She is trained in Oddissi, Ballet, Jazz, Latin as well as the contemporary dance forms.

Shraddha Kapoor

Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi's daughter Shraddha Kapoor started her film career with the not-so-interesting film Teen Patti. But Y-Films is re-launching her in their forthcoming film Luv Ka The End, an anti-rom-com film.

The actress claims that being an actor's daughter has not made her acting career any easier. She's had to give quite a few auditions to get this film.

Shraddha Kapoor has a three-film contract with Y-Films.

Luv Ka The End will release on May 6.

Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor is the son of producer Boney and Mona Kapoor.

It was Salman Khan who had told Arjun that he should get into films but he was 140 kilos then! He started training with Salman and is 85 kilos today.

Before facing the camera, Arjun worked as an assistant director -- he has worked as an assistant director in Kal Ho Naa Ho and Saalam-e-Ishq. He has also worked in two of his father's films: Wanted and No Entry.

Arjun will be seen in Virus Diwan, directed by Bumpy. Virus Diwan is a story of a computer hacker. It will release in December.

Saqib Saleem

Saqib was never interested in movies -- in fact, he was into cricket. Soon, that interest faded and he started modelling in New Delhi.

Love brought him to Mumbai as he started modelling in Mumbai, when the casting director of Y-films Shanu Sharma saw him and gave him a chance to work with Y-Films.

He will be seen in Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge.

Taaha Shah

Dubai-returned Taaha Shah worked at few places and did some modelling assignments before coming to India.

He completed a six-month acting course from the New York Film Academy and then later -- like many newcomers -- from Kishore Namir Kapoor Acting Academy.

He is a trained martial arts expert and has learnt dance forms like Hip Hop, Salsa and Cha-Cha-Cha among others.

Shah will star opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ka The End.

Nishant Dahiya

Nishant Dahiya comes from an army background -- his father and brother are in the army.

After getting a degree in engineering, he worked for a few corporations before deciding he'd had enough.

So he gave up everything one fine day and on his brother's insistence, took up modelling. He enterd the Mr Grasim India contest and was a first runner-up in 2006. He also won the title of Mr Photogenic and Best Smile.

After a lot of struggle, he landed Y-Films' Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge.
