PIX: Kareena prays at Siddhi Vinayak temple, gets mobbed

Kareena Kapoor and her Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar asked for some divine intervention at the famous Siddhi Vinayak temple in South Mumbai, as the release date of their film edged closer.

The temple has had visits from quite a few Bollywood celebrities in the past. But this particular visit was slightly different.

They chose the place to launch the music of Heroine, and held up CDs showing off Kareena's Halkat Jawani poster.

Interestingly, this is Kareena's first ever visit to Siddhi Vinayak.

The music for the film is composed by Salim-Sulaiman. Kareena's sizziling item number Halkat Jawani has already topped the charts.

The crowds, meanwhile, became uncontrollable when they heard of Kareena's presence in the temple.

Lack of co-ordination between the event organisers, temple authorities and police added to the chaos.

Kareena, who got mobbed by the crowds, probably won't forget the incident for a while to come.
