The 34th MTV Video Music Awards may have been boring but it saw a lot of interesting fashion on the red carpet.

Held in Inglewood, California, the awards night saw its share of surprises and big wins.

Taylor Swift made news at the awards show by premiering her video Look What You Made Me Do, even though she did not even attend.
