Kamal, Mohanlal in Tamil's A Wednesday

Kamal Haasan's next film after Dasavatharam is going to be Unniapol Oruvan, the Tamil remake of the successful and critically acclaimed Hindi movie, A Wednesday.

His own production house, Rajkamal International, is producing the film while the director is US-based Chakri Toleti who acted with Kamal as a boy photographer in Sagara Sangamam. A Telugu version also is being shot simultaneously.

Kamal will enact Naseeruddin Shah's [Images] role. But the surprise element is Mohanlal acting with him as the police officer, the role done by Anupam Kher [Images] in the original. It is going to be a treat for all film lovers to see the two most talented actors in India in one film. In the Telugu version, it is Venkatesh who does Mohanlal's role.

Ganesh Venkataraman, who made his debut in Radhamohan's Abhiyum Naanum opposite Trisha [Images] enacts Jimmy Shergill's [Images] role. Another interesting aspect about Unnaipol Oruvan is Shruti Haasan [Images] debuting as the background music scorer in the film.
