Perhaps it was wise that Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai was not called East Coast Road and instead given an Tamil equivilant title, since the highway connecting Chennai and Pondicherry is quite user friendly. No such luck with KKS starring Srikanth, Suresh (back on the screen after a long gap) and Bhavana.

KKS is about the hero who stalks the heroine for a while, and then the heroines takes over. Later, ace criminal lawyer and villain, played by Suresh (the heroine's brother), starts stalking both!

Diehard fans of Srikanth may not be able to understand the movie shot around a petrol pump, serene beaches, sea and a dreamy location for a song -- an intermission of sorts.

Comedy scenes pop up like apologies, and have no relevance to the film's plot.

After enduring almost 150 minutes of torture, getting out of the theatre was a pleasure.

Besides plagiarising a popular song from the past, music director Paul J has wasted everyone's time and money.

A virtually invisible script by writer-director SS Stanley and meaningless songs, Stanley cannot seem to get it right in the horror that is Kizhakku Kadakarkarai Salai.
