25 best-paying companies for software engineers

The competition to get the best software talent is accelerating. Salary is the first criteria to attract the right talent and companies are offering higher and higher pay to get the right person.

Last week Twitter’s Christopher Fry was in news for a package of $10.3 million. He is one of the highest paid employees in the company earning $1.2 million less than the CEO. And. if you look at some of the highest paid men, majority of them belong to technology firms.

To look at the rising competition among companies to secure the best talent, Glassdoor looked at the base pay of the tech firms. Surprisingly, the well-known names such as Google, Apple, and Facebook don't feature in the top three companies.

Let’s look at the best paying companies for techies.
