Wipro chairman Azim Premji said on Monday he does not see a significant slowdown in the US, the biggest market for Indian IT companies.
He said he was in Atlanta last week attending a meeting of American chief executive officers where generally the mood was 'surprisingly positive'.
"Companies are
strong on cash flows. They are reasonably optimistic of continuing strong cash flows going forward," he told a news conference in Bengaluru.
"We are not finding significant slowdown in the (US) market," Premji said, adding, the company has also not seen a significant change in either buying behaviour or buying cycle.
"Companies (in the US) continue to look at IT strategically," he added.
