The government on Monday ruled out dual pricing for diesel as of now and said it is working on subsidy management of petroleum products."We are working on a (subsidy) mechanism, as it's very difficult to implement dual pricing of diesel," Petroleum Minister Murli Deora said, while addressing a parallel session of Petrotech 2010 oil and gas conference at Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce
and Industry.
"Why should the government provide a subsidy of Rs 3 per litre on diesel for people who ride in Mercedes", he added.
