Even as Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata gets ready to meet with West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee in Kolkata, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has offered huge land tracts in the Bhuj area to the Tatas for the Nano manufacturing plant.

Modi has invited Ratan Tata to Gandhinagar for a discussion with state government officials as an initial offer. Feasibility shall be discussed at the first level.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife that the Tata-Buddhadeb meeting is being held to express the Tata Motors [Get Quote] decision to say good bye to Singur Tata Nano car project.
