"We are ready to cooperate with the government to help the poultry industry come back to shape," O P Singh, CEO, told PTI in Pune.
Asked whether the company has replied to the show cause notice from the Nandurbar district authorities for allegedly supplying infected birds to poultry farms at Navapur, he said.
"It was still to receive the notice. We would definitely file a reply on receiving it to get the matters cleared with the government."
On what the company was doing at present to tackle the crisis, Singh said, "At present we have adopted a wait and watch approach. But we are really concerned about all that has happened and would like to see that the poultry industry get back to shape as soon as possible."
"Our aim is to see that the consumption of poultry products increases," the Singh added.
