Jet Airways, on Wednesday, set a new record in the history of Indian Civil Aviation by flying 36,406 passengers with a seat factor of 86 per cent.
This is the first time that an airline in India has flown 36,406 passengers from its available capacity of 42,522 seats on its domestic and international sectors.
This achievement can be attributed to the seamless coordination between management, marketing and sales aptly supported by the highly efficient revenue and yield management system of Jet Airways.

Jet currently operates a fleet of 42 classic and next generation Boeing 737-400/700/800/900 aircraft, 3 A340-300 E aircraft and 8 modern ATR72-500 Turboprop aircraft.
With an average age of a little over 4.9 years, the airline has one of the youngest aircraft fleet in the world.
Over 28,000 passengers travel daily on Jet Airways' 300 flights to 48 destinations that span the length and breadth of India and beyond, including Colombo in Sri Lanka, Kathmandu in Nepal, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and London Heathrow, UK.
Since its inception in May 1993 till January 2006, Jet Airways has flown over 58.8 million passengers.
