There are two types of ideas -- the ones that work and others that probably seemed great on paper to their creators.

After designs that we liked the BEST from the recent Wills India Fashion Week, here's a look at the WORST of the lot.

Kanika Saluja

There was clearly a lot going for this outfit at the outset with that gorgeous shade of blue silver detail near the collar but alas!

If even a skinny, tall girl doesn't look good in an outfit, you know there's something inherently wrong with it.

This curious number from Sulakshana Monga's show is pure chaos and not even the good kind.

May be this would work as separate but we doubt if that weird sharara-type bottom half can pull off anything.

Those checks would work best on a Victoria Beckham knee-length dress, if you ask us.

With that headband, odd lace-work and ruched neckline, it looks more like something one would sleep in rather than venture out.

Never knew peplum could go wrong, even less so if attempted on a classic look like this one here.

The pleats ruin what could have been a striking combination of black and white.

This Ankur Modi dress would look more appropriate as table linen.

That print fails to work.

The kurta is lovely and, we're sure, so is the skirt.

But together? We don't know.

Wonder what brought on this unsuspected awkward sharara epidemic on the ramp.

One should tread lightly while dealing with checks.

As must be clear to every person with healthy eyesight, the neckline and fit of this dress is way off.

And the print on that thing? We won't even go there.

Shower curtains, anyone?

Besides, where could one possibly wear this inexplicable outfit?

The terribly ill-fitted slouchy sleeves, randomly placed ruffles, that metallic belt worn way below the accepted height, this dress scales new heights in disappointment.

This overwhelming print could very well be the next anarkali.

Even a celebrity can't sell such a gaudy, misguided, mismatched outfit like this.

Designer Samant Chauhan lost us at the tassels that serve as hemline in this dress.

Isn't that, like, so 1990?
