Fashion bible Vogue India celebrated it's fifth anniversary with a posh do in Mumbai on September 22. Here's a look at the stylish stars who graced the occasion!

Glamour and glitz were the order of the evening as Vogue marked five years in India at a South Mumbai hotel on Friday.

A-listers and catwalk queens posed for the flashbulbs in a flurry of designerwear as they entered, trying to outdo each other in the style stakes.

Here's a look at some of the most prominent guests and what they wore!

We start off with Kajol, who certainly seems to have hired a new stylist. Her fuschia gown hugged her voluptuous curves in all the right places, the accessories were trendy, her hairdo was becoming -- we're impressed!

Channeling the croptop trend with a matching applique skirt, Jacqueline Fernandez would have fared a lot better without the red lipstick and unflattering updo.

Upholding her reputation as catwalk queen, Diandra Soares looked fierce in a daring laser-cut gold corset and slit skirt.

Dia Mirza was her usual stylish self, upping the ante in a Karen Millen LBD.

Showing off more than a little cleavage in her sheer-panelled ensemble, model-actress Evelyn Sharma was the centre of attention.

Sonal Chauhan chose to shine in this deep blue mini with sharp shoulders.

Decidedly underdressed for the occasion, Prateik looked nonchalant as he strolled in wearing a leather jacket, ripped jeans and sneakers.

Model Angela Jonsson showed off her impressive bod in a floral number teamed with sexy ankle boots.

Sushma Reddy flattered her statuesque frame with this swirling fuschia maxi, accentuating her tiny waist with a gold belt.

Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar posed for the shutterbugs together, the starlet in Dior from head to toe and the filmmaker dapper in his trademark black -- but don't miss the hints of shine on his lapels and shoes!

Opting for a Kallol Datta tunic, Nina Manuel added an edge with her hot pink clutch, leather leggings and peep-toe boots.

Jiah Khan was spotted in a frumpy one-sided blouse and miniskirt and an updo that made her look much older than she is.

Although Kajol was far ahead in the style stakes, younger sister Tanisha also managed to impress in a red silk gown and statement neckpiece.

The jacket Sidhartha Mallya wore was certainly unusual, but those velvet bedroom slippers he chose to step out in were nothing short of a disaster.

Poorna Jagannathan was definitely one of the haute couture hotties of the evening, decked out as she was in a creamy ensemble from Chanel's coveted Paris-Bombay collection.

Going all out for the Vogue bash was Ramona Narang Rodella in the 'it' dress of the season -- a Stella McCartney design that's making waves across the world.

Tara Sharma wore a chic fitted red cocktail and even better, a wide smile.

We're on the fence about Sameera Reddy's androgynous look -- although she did look sharp, curves like hers should be celebrated instead of hiding them inside of such silhouettes!

Supermodel Nethra Raghuraman went the safe route with a simple silver number -- we certainly wish she'd taken more of a fashion risk like Diandra or Nina.

Maybe Mallya Junior should take lessons on carrying off footwear sans socks from couturier Manish Malhotra, who rocked his jeans and jacket look. Socialite Sheetal Mafatlal went for gold glamour, while Sophie Chaudhary was her usual elegant self in a one-sided purple affair.

Slip-up on the red carpet? We're yet to see that happen to the dapper Rahul Khanna, who always looks like a million bucks!

As befits a former supermodel, Rhea Pillai was both graceful and alluring in her printed satin gown.

Someone who needs to take a page out of Rhea's book is Queenie Singh -- it's time to give up the teensy fitted cocktails and glittering platforms and wear something more age-appropriate!

She's Dior's brand ambassador in India, so it's hardly surprising that businesswoman Kalyani Chawla would look straight out of the pages of a glossy in her cutting-edge couture.

Giving her beloved saris a miss for a change, Shobhaa De opted for a kaftan maxi and a statement neckpiece that went past her knees.

Queen of bling Pria Kataaria Puri was certainly in one of her own creations, of that there's little doubt -- but we've seen the pretty fashion designer look far better in more flowing, less sparkling pieces.

It's not that former supermodel Feroze Gujral can't carry off younger outfits -- we've seen proof of that on several occasions. But this fright of a misfitting gold design wouldn't suit anyone!

Rahul Bose was his usual not-a-hair-out-of-place self, suited and booted to the nines in an impeccably tailored suit.

Fashion features director of Vogue India, the stylish Bandana Tewari opted for a snakeskin effect creation.

And finally, we have Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap. While her '20s look is very 'in' at the moment, unfortunately it did nothing for the pretty actress (maybe the drab colour?).

As for Anurag, well, he's improving, but that floral shirt manages to cause a fashion upset!
