Pria Kataaria Puri showed her latest line that didn't seem too different from some of her previous ones 

Fashion designer Pria Kataaria Puri showcased her latest line Fast and Curious at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 featuring daring outfits in the wildest prints. Though somehow several outfits were reminiscent of some of her older lines, such as this one and this. Dev.D star Mahie Gill closed the show for Puri.

The line, Fast and Curious featured ready-to-wear, non-crushable outfits targeted at the 'bold, daring, globetrotting woman and man'. (That the line was more summer resort than winter-festive didn't matter.)

The colour palette was neon green, bright coral, sunny yellow, quirky turquoise and electric blue while the silhouettes were more suited to the beach than a wedding.

Also on show were kaftans for which the designer is best known.

Bikinis, much like this one formed the mainstay of the line that was shown as part of the winter-festive line-up.

Keeping the ethnic dresser happy there were saris with the characteristic Pria Kataaria Puri touch worn with gleaming gold belts and at times edged with gold lace.

Much like Vikram Phadnis who would show later in the evening, Puri seemed to be drawn in by gold as well.

Besides kaftans, the line featured tunics, minis, gowns, cropped tops, jumpsuits, skirts, high waist pants, flowing dresses and jackets.

Yet another vintage Pria Kataaria Puri design -- the kaftan dress.

This was the first time Puri showcased menswear too and showed waistcoats such as this one and churidar pants with kurtas, knee length shorts, long kaftans, baggy pants, trousers and shirts.

Closing the show for Pria Kataaria Puri was Dev.D star Mahie Gill who stood out head over shoulders in this figure-hugging outfit.
