Delicate floating silk threads in colours of the rainbow turned the garments into visions of sublime beauty.

Called "An Eye Through Bangles", the designing duo used the theme to ornament the garments.

Seen here is Sanea Sheikh in a love green ghagra choli.

The unique embroidery using bangles was added to the innovative silhouettes for the ethnic and Indo-western creations.

As the show stopper, it was the very popular Vidya Malvade in a stunning encrusted pink and purple ghagra choli, which revealed the talented pair's control over creativity.

For lovers of New Age woven fabrics and stylish embellishments, Farah and Firdos had turned their "An Eye Through Bangles" into a 21st century fashionable medley.

Payal Singhal 's collection at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 was titled 'Taj' and took inspiration from Islamic architecture's intricate designs of filigree, jaali work and floral inlays.

Aimed at the trend setting summer bride, Payal cleverly combined a melange of styles with her western urban silhouettes that sported Swadeshi hand woven textiles.

The list of options the designer offered to the girl who dreams of having either a beach nuptial or a regal wedding; were varied.

Embellishments had to be at centre stage for this collection as resham, silver and gold taar, pita kora, filigree, jaali and trellis patterns dazzled on the outfits.

Giving a modern twist to summer bridal wear, Payal Singhal presented the show stopper Aditi Rao Hydari star of Murder 3 in a fully encrusted wide red pants with a matching long sleeved choli and the tulle dupatta.
