Luxurious offerings by designers Jyotsna Tiwari and Narendra Kumar Ahmed glided down the runway on the second day of Bridal Week, currently underway in Mumbai.

Tiwari's 'Mystical Romance', a collection of pre-draped saris, anarkalis, lehengas and some fusion pieces kicked off the proceedings; Miss India 2011 and event ambassador Ankita Shorey was seen first, wearing a white net and silk layered one-shoulder gown with gold zari work.

Next up was this royal blue chiffon and crepe number, with gold bodice.

Sucheta Sharma looked radiant in a yellow tulle ghagra and lace dupatta, set off by a sparkling contrast choli.

Posing in a fuschia sari gown, Anjali Lavania was a picture of cocktail elegance.

Traditional red came to the fore with Alesia Raut strutting her stuff in a striking red lehenga.

The designer offered up several unique creations like this orange drape with a rich velour jacket choli -- note how the pallav is draped from inside of it instead of conventionally.

Rich yellow silk embroidered with gold makes a statement.

Tiwari shifts to the churidaar-kameez with this vibrant affair, set off by a netted neckline.

Nethra Raghuraman oozes perfection in this gorgeous white and red emsemble.

Diva Dhawan is ravishing in this red cascading ghagra, set off by a bordered dupatta and blouse.

Another breathtaking design featuring traditional cuts and colours is seen on Kavita Kharayat.

Rachel Bayros offers another dose of ethnic elan in this beautiful bridal, rich with embroidery.

All eyes are on Sonakshi Sinha as she takes to the runway in the showstopping creation, which is nothing if not opulent.

The designer's line is showcased in its entirety as the show draws to a close.

And finally, Tiwari steps out alongside her celebrity muse to bask in the adulation.

But don't go away yet -- there's was a lot more ramp action at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week!

Saif Ali Khan put in a surprise appearance between the showings, looking dapper in a white jacket and pants. The actor was performing brand ambassador duties and made quite an entrance, accompanied by fireworks and models dancing to peppy music.

Narendra Kumar Ahmed showcased his collection next, inspired by classical ballet traditions as well as the Russian classical music of esteemed composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.

It's worth noting that this is the designer's first-ever bridal line and he didn't disappoint, presenting beautiful ethnic creations for both women and men.

Sucheta Sharma opened the show in this champagne and gold ensemble, a delicate tulle underlay setting off its front-fastening choli and tasteful embroidery.

Namit Khanna stepped out in this intricate kurta, teamed with a black jacket for men.

This rich corset and pebble-sequinned sari took everyone's breath away.

Sparkling florals took centrestage with this gorgeous printed fusion piece.

It was all about lovely lemon lace with this two-layered empire-waisted outfit.

Anchal Kumar looks demure and delicate in a long, regal ethnic jacket.

Freddy Daruwala models a dashing off-white sherwani with both embossed and sequinned patterns.

Amazing aqua tones are carried off in style by Surelee Joseph -- and don't miss that the pallav is tucked into the blouse once more. Are we looking at a new trend, perhaps?
