TOP 5: Meet the youngest tech millionaires

They've made their millions much before they completed school! Here are five really, really wealthy techies.

Mark Zuckerberg may be the poster boy of all things young, rich and tech. But at 28, the Facebook founder is the oldest in this list. Keep clicking!

First up we have Nick D'Aloisio, aged 17, who developed the smartphone news app Summly, a news-reading mobile application, which was snapped up by Yahoo! for $30 million. In fact he wasn't even on Facebook, until very recently. One of the first things he did once he got on to the social networking website was to 'like' Yahoo! and Apple!

All of 19, Sahil Lavingia is the CEO of Gumroad, an online payments company he started, works in his home which doubles as his office in the SOMA neighbourhood of San Francisco. Lavingia, who was born in New York and grew up in places like London, Hong Kong and Singapore, dropped out of the University of Southern California to work at online bulletin board company Pinterest. He also developed the Turntable.fm app for the iPhone.

Tim Chae, 20, knew he wanted to be in the start-up space when he was, hold your breath, 13! So he joined the Babson College that's been ranked number one in entrepreneurship for 19 years in a row and dropped out! Eventually he raised capital for his company Post Rocket that is one of the hottest start-ups in the Silicon Valley.

Josh Buckley is 21 and is the CEO of Minomonsters Inc that has developed a simulation application for the iOS platform. Buckley is the youngest CEO to have raised money from the $2.7 billion venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz and made it to Forbes Magazine's prestigious 30 under 30 list.

Buckley sold a previous company for a low six figures when he was still in high school in Maidstone, England

Mark Zuckerberg, one of the five co-founders of Facebook is estimated to be worth $9.4 billion as of 2012.

Zuckerberg attended Harvard College where in his sophomore year, wrote an application that let students on the college's network to vote on the attractiveness of other students.

The application was shut down sooner than later. Eventually along with his roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes Zuckerberg launched Facebook from their dorm room.

By 2007, Zuckerberg was a billionaire. At the time, he was 23.
