What: The Indian Institute of Technology-Madras invites applications for its Ph D/ MS programmes.
The programmes are offered under the regular, external registration and MS (sponsored) schemes, which are available with and without Half-time Teaching/ Research Assistantship and is valid for students specialising in the following areas:
- Engineering: Aerospace, Applied Mechanical (including Bio-medical), Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical & Materials, Ocean
- Science: Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics
- Management: All areas
- Humanities: English, German, History, Philosophy
- Social Sciences: Economics, Psychology, Sociology and allied areas
How to apply
~ For details about eligibility, qualifications, research areas in the departments, please visit www.acadadmission.iitm.ac.in.
~ Obtain the application form and information brochure from the Deputy Registrar (Acad), IIT-Madras, by sending a request along with a demand draft of Rs 250 (Rs 125 for SC/ ST candidates) in favour of IIT-Madras, payable at Chennai.
~ Your request must be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope 26" x 18" in size, superscribed with Request for Application for PhD/ MS Programme.
