In an online chat with readers, Amit Chaudhary, expert, Sarkari Jobs offered advice on how to prepare for the SSC Combined Graduate Exam.

The exam tests candidates for various skills; selection in the exam will guarantee a posting in one of the ministries and departments led by the Government of India.

Amit Chaudhary: This Year's last Date is already over. Also the maximum age for General in SSC is 30 years. you can try other exams

Kripanshu: My wife 31 years old. She has done BLib and MLib course along with graduation. Pls suggest suitable govt job...

Amit Chaudhary: Dear Kripanshu She can go for General Jobs like SSC CGL or Bank PO. These days Bank PO Job is highly preferred by women.

gundubhogula madhusudan: G.Sandeep I am studying in 4th year BTech Auto mobile Engineering, I have not cleared my 6th semester subject i.e. 6 subjects pending, I have another two semesters in the final year. How can I get my gov jobs/ PSU can you help me.

Amit Chaudhary: Hi G. Sandeep First Thing, Clear your Semester Exams. Second Thing, Decide which field you want to enter in. You can Give GATE Exam if you want to enter in PSUs or You can also give SSC CGL if you want a complete Sarkari Job.

Shoumit Bhattacharya: Is there any age limit ? Is it possible to make a switch from the Pvt sector to the Govt sector ? Any openings in training / manpower development ?

Amit Chaudhary: Hi Shoumit Yes there is age limit. You can switch but it depends on your skills. Openings do come regularly. You can check our blog for that.

ravi kotpalliwar: Can I get a govt job at the age of 40

Amit Chaudhary: Dear Ravi, You can get government jobs even at age of 40. But that will be lateral hiring, not at entry level. Kindly refer Employment news regularly for such vacancies

sulove rawat: Does low marks in 12 standard , will affect my selection in interviews after clearing my written paper ?Even my performance had improved in my graduation and post graduation ,will this be a benefit to cover my past ?

Amit Chaudhary: Dear Sulowe Low marks in 12 standard will not affect your selection in interviews if you are able to justify it to the Interview Panel by a convincing answer You can support your answer by describing how you improved your performance had improved in your graduation and post graduation.

Sudipto Mondal: My wife has completed Msc in chemistry and of 27 years old.what kind of job she can apply.she has no experience. 

Amit Chaudhary: Hi Sudipto She can apply for Bank PO Jobs. Bank Job is one of the most suitable job for women. IBPS PO Registrations are still open.

Amit Chaudhary: Dear Munna You can apply for Bank PO. After a few years of Service, You are eligible to work in any specialized department of the Bank. You can opt for Accounts Department then. SSC CGL also has some jobs like Auditor, AAO.You can also opt for these

Amit Chaudhary: Hi Omprakash SSC CHSL is a job specially for 12th passed candidates. You can ask her to prepare for SSC CHSL. SSC conducts CHSL exam for 12th passed candidates. You can ask her to prepare for it.

Amit Chaudhary: Graduation in any stream.

Amit Chaudhary: Age Criteria is different for different posts. You can check that in the individual notifications On an average it is from 20-30 years .

Aprosh Aarsiwala: How can I apply for SSC CGL? 

Amit Chaudhary: Registrations for this year are closed. You can apply next year by registering online on the official website of SSC.

If you are graduate and satisfying the age criteria, you can apply on the official website of SSC. This year, registrations have been closed. But you can apply next year

TAYAB RAJ: My wife is PG, LLB, diploma in IT 29 years. Please provide a suitable job match to anywhere in India.

Amit Chaudhary: Hi Tayab She can go for General Jobs like SSC CGL or Bank PO.Also she can prepare for Jobs as per her specialisation like IBPS Law Officer.

ramesh: I have a doubt regarding SSC CHSL 2015. I am from OBC category.

According to notification obc certificates which were issued between 14.07.2012 to 09.01.2016 are valid.But i have taken obc certificate on 15.04.2016.So is this create any problem at the time of skill test? Kindly help me out of this situation. Thanking you Sir.

Amit Chaudhary: Ramesh Your OBC Certificate will also work provided you were in OBC during the Time of Recruitment notification

Amit Chaudhary: Hi Kuldeep You can apply for Special Positions that are notified by the Banks. 

abzal: My daughter pass BE 2015 batch in Computer science 68% aggregate so pl suggest suitable Govt Job .
