Speculation about Pakistan cricket legend-turned-politician Imran Khan’s marriage seems to have ended.
A close friend of the 62-year-old former cricketer announced that he tied the knot with the divorced mother-of-three at his home in Islamabad in accordance with Islamic law.
Khan finally married ex-BBC weather girl Reham Khan at a low-key wedding ceremony, but not a single member of his family was invited.
His bride, Reham Khan, now hosts a political talk show on Pakistan's Dawn News.
Thus far, Imran, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, hasn't taken to Twitter to divulge details about the wedding.
But his former wife, Jemima Khan, took to Twitter to wish him the best in his 'new phase of life.'
Khan was married to Jemima for nine years before divorcing in 2004, and has two sons with her.
Their marriage was described as 'tough', as she was allegedly unable to adapt to Pakistani culture.
Reham thanked Pakistanis who sent her touching messages after speculation regarding the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader's marriage caught up, and said that she would "always feel like honorary Pakistani, no matter what".
