Sehwag doubtful for Lahore ODI

February 13, 2006 00:31 IST

India received a double blow ahead of the third one-day international against Pakistan after Virender Sehwag's [Images] participation was in doubt owing to a shoulder spasm.

The decision on Sehwag as well as Harbhajan Singh's [Images] participation in the match would be taken on Monday, according to team sources.

Sehwag had a scheduled meeting with team physiotherapist John Gloster this evening and the outcome did not seem to be encouraging.

However, assistant team manager Wg. Cdr. K Baladitya said if Sehwag's injury were serious, he would have been ruled out today.

He also added that it would be the player's decision to make and did not depend on Gloster's observation.

"It all depends on how he (Sehwag) feels," Baladitya told PTI.

He said if Sehwag is ruled out for the match tomorrow, then Delhi opener Gautam Gambhir [Images] would replace him.
