International Cricket Council president Ehsan Mani has confirmed that the Pakistan Cricket Board has given its nod for the sixth India-Pakistan One-Day International.

"Yes, I can confirm that PCB has given its nod to the additional one-day match to be played at Ahmedabad," Mani told rediff.com on Friday.

Mani is in New Delhi to sort out some financial matters with the Union government relating to the 2006 ICC [Images] Trophy.

When contacted, Rajiv Shukla, vice-president of the Board for Control of Cricket in India, said the BCCI is awaiting the PCB's written approval.

"We expect the approval to come by the afternoon or little later," he said.
