Indian automobile industry and auto sales

Domestic passenger car sales declined by 9 per cent to 1,39,632 units in June this year from 1,53,450 units in the same month of 2012.

According to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, motorcycle sales in last month declined by 9.16 per cent to 7,99,139 units from 8,79,721 units in the same month previous year.
