How many work hours can get you an iPhone?

People working in Zurich are able to afford the iPhone 4S, the quickest, after 22 hours of work. The working time required is ten times longer in Mexico City and Bucharest.

In Indian cities, the working time is over three hundred hours to buy an iPhone. In Beijing, one has to work for 184 hours to afford an iPhone S.

The UBS survey on price and earnings tracks the purchasing power iPhone 4S (16 GB) – one of the most sought-after products in recent years.

If we exclude discounted offers used to lock buyers into a contract, buying an iPhone can take a considerable amount of work, says the UBS report.
