Eastern Europe and Africa have the most favourable housing conditions.
The highest rents typical for a city are paid in North America, the Middle East and Western Europe, says a UBS study.
The global average cost of a four-room apartment is around $2,630 per month.

The UBS study lists the average cost of housing per month, which an apartment seeker would expect to pay on the free market at the time of the survey.
Rental prices (monthly gross rents) are based on apartments built after 1980 (4 rooms, kitchen, bathroom, with garage) including all ancillary costs.
