Forex reserves drop to $162.962 bn

Foreign exchange reserves declined $793 million to $162.962 billion for the week ended May 19, according to the weekly supplement released by RBI on Friday.

Foreign currency assets dropped $787 million to $155.879

billion. While gold reserves were unchanged at $6.301 billion, the Reserve Position in IMF was down $6 million to $782 million.
