Our expert too reckoned that Zimbabwe would win because he estimated that Zimbabwe would score 245 if they were to play the full 50 overs.

At the 10^th, 20^th, 30^th and 40^th over stage, Zimbabwe were comfortably ahead with PI values, respectively, of 70, 66, 87 and 86. After 45 overs, the PI was a mere 46.

How Zimbabwe failed to go past the post after being in such a commanding position will be a mystery of the 2007 World Cup.
