When Team India cheated their fans
April 17, 2007
If the format for the 2007 cricket World Cup had gone according to plan, India would have played the West Indies had they qualified for the Super Eight stage.

But that was not to be. Team India went down timidly to Bangladesh; the meek defeat against Sri Lanka sealed their fate.

Many Indian fans from across the world had booked their tickets in anticipation of the battle against the hosts. And they were left stranded. Their disappointment is evident in this banner posted at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.

The West Indies faces Bangladesh at Barbados on April 19.
