Journalist Priyabhansu Ranjan, now in judicial custody in connection with his girlfriend Nirupama Pathak's death case, was interrogated by the police in Koderma jail.
A case of rape and abetment to suicide has been filed against the boyfriend of Delhi-based journalist Nirupama Pathak, an alleged victim of 'honour killing', following charges leveled by her arrested mother. The FIR was lodged by the police on Friday evening on directions from a local court and investigations are going on, Koderma Superintendent of Police G Kranthi Kumar said on Saturday.
A 10 to 12 week-old foetus was found during autopsy of the Delhi-based journalist Nirupama Pathak, whose death at her home at Tilaya in Jharkhand is being suspected as a case of honour killing, Koderma civil surgeon B Mohan said on Wednesday.
