Ace shuttlers Chetan Anand and Arvind Bhat reached the pre-quarter-finals of men's singles at the Macau Open Grand Prix in China on Wednesday after contrasting victories even though it was curtains for four other Indians.
Four Indian shuttlers, including P Kashyap and Chetan Anand, advanced to the second round of the of the Macau Open after contrasting wins even as two others were shown the door on Tuesday. Kashyap, seeded 14th, beat Malaysian Chun Seang Tan 21-16, 22-20 in 30 minutes, while seventh seed Chetan defeated Kay Bin Yeoh 21-16, 21-16 in a 26-minute first round encounter.
